Since the launch of Bollé Safety’s ESG (Enviromental, Social, Governance) plan, various GO GREEN eco-conscious projects flourished.

Bollé Safety has always tried to choose the most ecoconscious policies when possible in an effort to reduce carbon footprint. Accompanied by an ambitious transformation strategy involving all products and processes, they aim to achieve international B-Corp certification by 2024 and to reduce the carbon emissions of each product by 35% by 2027.

B Corp is a for-profit company that meets social and environmental performance standards and is certified by B Lab, a non-profit organisation. The B Corp certification process involves an extensive evaluation of a company’s policies and practices that impact its workers, customers, community, and the environment.

In order to reach these ambitious targets, Bollé Safety works on the entire products’ lifecycle and across all ranges, from industrial to medical eyewear. With Solis Go Green, the first sustainable safety eyewear certified EN166 and with nylon 100% made of recycled fishing net, Bollé Safety have set a new way to think of safety eyewear, greener and always as protective.

If prescription eyewear is required, Bollé Safety have launched Klassee, a bio-based frame made of castor oil that is set to become one of the key products in our line, judging by positive reviews from early users.

Eco Packaging

Bollé Safety are proud to provide a 100% recyclable packaging solution made from recycled cardboard and tissue paper. To make it plastic-free, Bollé Safety have also taken the decision to print their user instructions directly on the outer packaging with water-based ink which reduces their packaging weight by 41%. This ultimately impacts the carbon footprint during transportation, as well as the amount of waste generated and the cost of waste management.

Developed with the utmost respect of the environment, SOLIS, KOMET and KLASSEE Go Green sustainable eyewear combines all the fundamentals of protection, comfort and style.

Anti-fog and anti-scratch coated, this unique safety eyewear keeps all its assets and performances while being environmentally friendly.
