Our customers are our biggest priority, which is why we will always go the extra mile. We can cater for all of our customer’s needs, even those with niche requirements. We aim to contribute to the economic, environmental and social wellbeing of our customers, suppliers and communities in which we operate. Looking after the environment is part of who we are and we are wholly committed to sourcing environmentally friendly products.
In the current climate, there is an increasing demand for environmentally friendly PPE products, which we, at Greenham, strive to address. Our BeGreen initiative has always been a core element of all of our products and services, which assist our customers in reducing their ecological footprint. (Full details of our initiative can be found here.)
In continuing our mission to walk towards a greener future, we have been working closely with Rock Fall to expand the environmentally friendly safety footwear available in the industry. By this, we mean footwear that doesn’t harm the environment during the manufacturing process, with a particular focus on the Greenhouse Gas (GHG).
In doing so, we have also explored the benefits of waterproof membranes which use non-EPTFE material. The results showed that non-EPTFE material, used in all Rock Fall styles, emit 36% less Greenhouse Gases than the leading EPTFE material*.
We can also offer you secure disposal and recycling of your PPE. All materials can be collected from your premises and taken to a secure facility where it is destroyed using a shredding process. It is then used as Energy from Waste (EfW) and converted to Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) to generate power. PPE that we collect for recycling:
- Workwear (branded and unbranded)
- Helmets and accessories
- Eyewear
- Footwear (including metal toecaps)
- Gloves (even oil contaminated)
- Ear defenders and plugs
- Respiratory products
At Greenham, we are fully committed to safety and protecting people every day that is why our customers and suppliers are at the very heart of everything we do. We will always go that extra mile to ensure your safety.
