Designed for a more inclusive workforce
Developed in response to user feedback, the 4500 XF delivers the same trusted protection and performance as the original 4500 Series. The addition of enhanced strap elasticity and extended fit capability helps provide improved comfort and inclusivity.
Expanding comfort without compromising protection
Respiratory protection is only effective when it fits correctly and can be worn consistently throughout the working day. Recognising the importance of fit and wearer comfort, Skytec has introduced the new 4500 Extended Fit (XF) respirator, an evolution of the trusted 4500 Series designed to support a wider range of users.
A secure and comfortable fit helps users wear respiratory protection correctly throughout their shift, supporting both protection and compliance in demanding working environments. The 4500 XF has been developed to provide greater flexibility for those who require additional fit options, while maintaining the trusted performance of the 4500 Series.

Enhanced fit, comfort and ease of use
The new XF variants with improved strap elasticity provide additional flexibility, making donning and doffing easier for users who require extended strap length or have wider facial profiles. This helps reduce pressure points and improve overall comfort without affecting the secure fit required for effective respiratory protection.
The 4500 XF range is available in four variants, including FFP2 and FFP3 options with and without a high-flow exhalation valve. The valve variants are designed to reduce breathing resistance and enhance wearer comfort during extended periods of use, while the colour-coded valve enables quick and easy identification of the FFP protection level.
Further comfort features include a soft, flexible and adjustable nose bridge, allowing users to achieve a personalised fit while helping reduce pressure around the nose and face. The ergonomic shape supports natural facial movement, making it easier to communicate and carry out tasks while wearing respiratory protection.
The respirator also features a secure, metal-free harness system with colour-coded textile elastic for easy identification of the FFP protection level. This intuitive design supports efficient PPE selection and management in busy working environments.
Trusted protection across the 4500 Series
The 4500 Series of respirators is ergonomically designed to deliver both comfort and protection. The range includes eight variants suitable for different applications, protection levels and face shapes, helping organisations select the right respiratory protection for their workforce.
Whether selecting a standard 4500 Series respirator or the new Extended Fit (XF) variant, users can be confident they are choosing respiratory protection designed with both safety and wearer comfort in mind.
